10 and 11 November 98
Since 10 Nov 98 morning, we
discovered that the Form Mail features of the Voting System was not functioning. The basic
Front Page Extensions were also corrupted and had to be reinstalled. Hence we were
not able to receive the votes to update the data. Some of you might have seen a very plain
website that is missing the usual navigational buttons.
The Barista apologise

A new page, Morning Brew, will be added. It will contain links to major newspapers,
including those from Singapore and Hong Kong.
The entire town, in
which our web-hosting provider is located, suffered a serious power outage. It was caused
by their power company doing the upgrade to the grid. It also affected MCI and
Sprint's internet access service. The Barista and Koffee Korner apologises to the Internet
surfers for the inconveniences caused when they were unable to access the website.
